Conveniently located in the Moreton Bay region between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, is the home of Pacific Harbour Golf and Country Club at Bribie Island. Surrounded by pristine national parks, and inhabited by plenty of local wildlife, this course is one that you’ll want to add to your bucket list! Operating since 2006 and open to the public, we offer social play 7 days a week and visitors are welcome to play in our competitions. The course boasts lush green fairways, responsive fast paced greens, challenging par-3s, lengthy par-4s and some rewarding par-5s for golfers of all levels. With an aquatic driving range, chipping area, practice green and spectacular views of natural surrounds, this course is a must-see destination. You will not regret coming out and testing your golfing skills on this beautiful hidden treasure! After 2 years of construction, Pacific Harbour Golf & Country Club opened to impressive reviews. The Ross Watson designed island links course quickly became the ‘must play’ course of South East Queensland. All the key characteristics of a world-class course have been incorporated: a great layout that tracks the terrain naturally, challenging design and memorable holes, framed by beautiful landscaping which emulates the unique coastal forest environment on Bribie Island. Water is the central theme of the course and can be seen with many picturesque reflective lakes. Even the clubhouse appears to float over a lake and an aquatic driving range. Ross has cleverly used the wetlands, watercourses and native vegetation in the environmentally friendly and sustainable design, which he calls minimalist turf care principles. Only environmentally acceptable fertilisers that will not degrade the environment, including the subterranean water table are used. Irrigation for the course is sourced from feature lakes and the underground water table. The plan also ensures that the irrigation water will run off back into the water table and into the lakes. Not only does the club boast a stunning course, the beautiful clubhouse was designed so that it appears to be floating, offering a scenic view over the course from The Deck Bistro, with lunch available 7 days a week and dinner Friday and Saturday evenings.
